Drew McIntyre remains one of the top Superstars in WWE and certainly has a lot of passion for the pro wrestling business. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. He is also never afraid to give advice to his peers whenever needed.

McIntyre was drafted to Friday Night Smackdown and started appearing on the show after WWE Crown Jewel in October. Since then he has become one of the mainstays of the company.

Drew McIntyre returned to WWE back in 2017 after being released in 2014. McIntyre returned with a more ripped look as he packed on a lot of muscle. It seems there was a reason for that.

While speaking with Daily Record, Drew McIntyre talked about changing up his look after making his WWE return. McIntyre admitted that he had to look like he could beat Brock Lesnar convincingly, which is why he changed up his look.

“I needed to look like I could beat up Brock Lesnar. I didn’t believe it, so I started putting in the work like crazy and eating properly. Whenever someone tells you that it’s mostly diet, not training, it’s 100% true. You need the training, but it’s the diet.”

WWE is currently building towards a feud between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Before that, McIntyre will be squaring off against Madcap Moss at WWE Day 1 on January 1st, 2022.
