WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin is regarded as one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. It seems WWE plans on bringing him back to coincide with next year’s WrestleMania location.
Steve Austin ushered in the Attitude Era and became the face of the company. His feuds with the likes of The Rock, Triple H and more helped define a generation. He also has a ton of fans deep in the heart of Texas.
According to a report by WrestleVotes, the company wants to bring back The Texas Rattlesnake for next year’s WrestleMania 38 pay-per-view as it will be held in Dallas, Texas, the home state of Austin. The role is said to be a meaningful one.
“Talked to a few different source this weekend & heard the same thing, WWE is very interested in having Steve Austin as a part of WrestleMania this year in Dallas. Not in a wrestling role, but a meaningful part of the event outside of just appearing. Up to creative at this point.”
Austin’s most recent appearance on WWE television was back on the March 16, 2020 episode of Monday Night Raw where he did a segment to commemorate 3:16 Day. We will have to wait and see if Austin will make an appearance at WrestleMania 38 or not. He has already provided his services for voiceover work on WrestleMania commercials to promote ticket sales.
Even after his in-ring retirement, the WWE Hall Of Famer has made numerous appearances over the years, especially at the Grandest Stage Of Them All. His returns are always highly anticipated. We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
