Tonight’s RAW will see the return of the Cutting Edge talk show, the first episode since 2018 (I think?). Tonight Edge’s guest is Maryse, who walked out on her husband last week after slapping him when he used her as a human shield. Edge will likely look to twist the knife in The Miz but the A-Lister surely won’t be far behind his wife.
Elsewhere tonight, Vince McMahon’s pet project, Austin Theory, will face Finn Balor, Doudrop tackles Bianca Belair again, Dolph Ziggler challenges Damian Priest in the hopes of earning a United States Championship match, and Bobby Lashley will be on hand with MVP.
That’s the preview for tonight’s RAW. Our live coverage will begin from 8PM right here. Let us know if you’re excited about any of it and remember to hit the refresh link below and enjoy the show!
Monday Night RAW opens with a recap of last week’s show, which saw Bobby Lashley beat Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Big E in the same night to get added to the WWE Championship match at Day 1.
We go live to the arena and out comes Lashley and MVP to the ring. MVP says the fans should get on their feet and applaud the All Mighty. Especially after last week, where he did what many would have said was impossible; beat Owens, Rollins and Big E in one night. MVP knows the crowd is pathetic, so it’s difficult for them to understand such Herculean tasks. What Lashley did was like running the Boston marathon and winning, then going to the NBA finals and winning, and then going five rounds with Francis Ngannou and knocking him out.
Big E interrupts MVP and makes his way to the ring. Big E says congrats to Bobby Lashley, he did what he said he was going to do. But the Bobby Lashley he knows is strong, has a lot of sisters, and can do things on his own. Yet in came MVP to hit him with a cane. So maybe Lashley doesn’t have the plums to go it alone? Lashley says he doesn’t need anyone’s help, he could beat Big E any night of the week. Lashley asks MVP if he ever needed his help and MVP says he did not.
Lashley says MVP thinks he could beat Big E all on his own, so how about they see if that’s true. Lashley leaves the ring and this is happening. Big E approaches MVP, who holds his cane like a baseball bat. Before they brawl, Owens and Rollins attacks Lashley on the floor! They send him into the ring post, then Big E comes out and they send him into the barricade. KO and Seth get back in the ring where Lashley is and stomp him down, then Owens holds him up for Seth. Big E returns and takes out Owens, followed by Lashley slamming Rollins. Big E and Lashley are left alone in the ring staring daggers.
Bianca Belair is interviewed backstage and apparently her match with Doudrop is being called “the final chapter”. Belair says this has all come from Doudrop. She’s the Est. of WWE and she has one last match to show Doudrop that she can’t beat her, no matter how many times she sneak attacks her. So this chapter will end like all the rest, with her standing tall.

Owens and Rollins are walking backstage and KO is shouting that they need to take Lashley out before Day 1. He says he’s known him since 2004 and he keeps getting younger, then calls him a “super-jacked Benjamin Button”. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville appear and say they’ve put together a fascinating tag match for tonight, with the two of them facing Lashley and Big E. KO and Seth don’t love it but Pearce and Deville walk off.
The match gets underway and Bianca uses her speed to outmanouever Doudrop. Eventually Doudrop catches her with a shoulder, t clhenubs her down. Doudrop beats Bianca in the corner but Belair starts firing back with forearms. Doudrop whips her to the corner but Belair flips over, does some backflips, then connects with a dropkick.
Belair shoulders Doudrop in the corner, then attempts a crossbody but gets caught and powerslammed. Doudrop attempts a senton but Bianca avoids it, then looks for a springboard but gets caught and sent out of the ring. Doudrop goes out after Belair and tries to run her into the apron but winds-up getting caught with a spinebuster on the floor!

Doudrop catches Belair in the corner and hits a powerbomb for a near-fall. She drags Belair over to the corner, climbs the buckles, spanks herself a few times, and jumps for a Vader Bomb but Belair avoids it. Belair gets Doudrop up on her shoulders and hits the Kiss of Death! Bianca gets her rolled over and pins her for the win!
We see Austin Theory walking backstage and he’s stopped for an interview. He says he feels like the luckiest Superstar in the world because he gets to hang out with Vince McMahon. Maybe he likes his selfies, but he thinks Vince sees him as the future WWE Champion.

Balor connects with a shotgun dropkick, then goes up top and hits the Coup de Grace for the win.
We see a replay of last week when Edge was a guest on Miz TV, which ended in Miz using Maryse as a human shielf and getting slapped by her. Miz is backstage with Omos and he says this is going to be a fascinating episode of Miz TV. AJ Styles appears and Miz laughs and walks off. Styles says he’s so happy he and Omos are on the same page. Tonight they beat Rey and Dominik Mysterio and get back in the title picture. Omos roughly claps AJ in the back.
*Commercial Break*
The Miz in the ring for a new episode of Miz TV. The Miz says he wants to address the controversy and he needs to say this to his wife; he loves Maryse and if she loves him and their family, she won’t talk about what happened tonight on the Cutting Edge. The Miz then introduces his guests, AJ Stylse and Omos.
Omos throws a chair out of the ring before they speak. Miz says they’ve been out of sync lately and AJ says kinda like Miz and his wife. Miz asks if the magic has left and Styles says it’s just growing pains. He meant what he said last week, when he and Omos are on the same page they’re unstoppable. When he saw Omos he knew he had to take him under his wing and he’s grew so much since then.
AJ says Omos is so good he could be a Tag Team Champion on his own. He’s very proud of their tag team and he suggests they clean house and take all the titles in WWE. Miz says he’s heard otherwise from Omos. AJ says he sees what’s going on here so how about he ask Miz a question; what kind of man puts the mother of his children in harm’s way? Miz says AJ is just deflecting, Omos confided in him that he is sick and tired of carrying Styles.
Miz says Omos thinks AJ is holding him back and there is no mutual respect. It took Styles fifteen years to get to WWE, whereas WWE begged Omos to sign a contract. Styles gets agitated and says they shouldn’t have come on this show because Miz is full of it. He asks Omos to tell him what’s really going on, but before he can speak he’s interrupted by Rey and Dominik Mysterio.
*Commercial Break*
The match starts with AJ and Dominik. They lock-up and Styles takes Dominik down with a waistlock. Dominik fires back with some forearms, then hits a springboard arm-drag. AJ lands a backbreaker, then grabs an abdominal stretch. Dominik figts free but AJ connects with a Pele kick and stares at Rey. Dominik avoids a splash and tags Rey, who hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors.

Styles gets shoved back to the other side of the ring and he rolls to the apron. Styles forearms Omos, then wants the Phenomenal Forearm but Omos catches him and hits a military press. Vince McMahon is writing on a notepad backstage. Austin Theory walks in and apologises for losing tonight. He says he knows he did wrong but he got Balor back with a calculated, vicious attack. McMahon says he enjoyed it but he lost the match and he doesn’t know what to do. Or maybe he should fire him. He loves firing people, especially right before the holidays. But he’ll give Theory one more chance, in a rematch with Balor next week. Vince says he didn’t become a ruthless billionaire by making bad investments, so he hopes Theory isn’t one of them.
Edge is in the ring for a new episode of the Cutting Edge. He says his guest tonight is Maryse and the only things they have in common is their Canadian heritage and their frustrations with The Miz. Maryse makes her entrance and sits opposite Edge. He asks her how frustrating it is to be married to Miz but she says they’re not friends, she just wants to talk. Miz asks if she couldn’t do that on Miz TV and she says of course not, Miz is an egomaniac and she can’t get a word in.
Edge says he didn’t realise this was therapy. She says she knows she looks like she has it all together but she’s a human and she wants a thank you for taking care of the kids, the house, the business, their show, etc. She’s been doing everything for fifteen years and she’s exhausted. Last week Edge could have hurt her really badly and she has two beautiful kids at home. If something happened her, who would take care of them?
She asks Edge if he would have done this to Beth Phoenix. Edge sarcastically apologises and says her life is some terrible country song. Edge asks if anyone is buying this crap, then says it’s obvious this is a tactic so Miz can sneak attack him. Edge says no, he would never do this to his wife because he respects her. Edge tells Miz to get out here and his music hits and he comes in from behind but Edge attacks him. Edge kicks Miz down in the corner and Maryse slaps him in the face. Miz hits Skull Crushing Finale again, then kisses his wife.

Lashley appears and Big E asks if he’s going to need to keep an eye out for MVP and his cane. Lashley says he didn’t need MVP last week and he won’t need him tonight. Big E tells him to leave MVP in the back and Lashley says he will.

Liv Morgan makes her way to the ring with a kendo stick and we see a replay of her confrontation with Becky Lynch last week. Liv says she challenged Becky to a rematch at Day and, just as she always does, Becky tried to injure her. But she couldn’t let it be, and she remembered Becky saying she was going home to train. So she flew to Becky’s private gym to get even and Becky had planned on that.
We see footage of this past weekend where a ginger girl training with someone in a ring and Morgan appeared behind her. Liv hits her with a kendo stick but it’s not Becky! Lynch appears behind Liv and takes the kendo from her and hits her with it. Liv fights back and takes the kendo and wails on Lynch a few times until she bails from the ring. Becky shouts at her to never come back again.
Liv says Becky was a step ahead of her but she learned that Becky is threatened enough to hide from her. Morgan says she can’t stand that she beat up an innocent woman but she was pretty happy when she thought it was Becky. And that shows what kind of person Lynch is. She welcomes these kind of games because at the end of the day she’ll have her arm raised, then Becky will have all the time in the world to hang out with her baby and her “hot husband”.
Becky comes out and congratulates Liv for beating an innocent woman senseless. But her and her students understand you have to break a few eggs and take a few lumps, which is why she isn’t so worried. Liv did teach her students a lesson though: everybody can get lucky once. She will give her kudos because she’s stepped up more than she ever thought possible, but it gets very hot under the big lights and she can’t handle the heat.
Liv says Becky can’t scare her because she is the next Champion, and from where she’s standing her spotlight feels pretty good. Lynch says she’d love to join her and break her other arm but she’s not an idiot, she won’t get in the ring when Liv has a kendo stick. Liv says she didn’t bring the kendo for herself, she brought if ro Becky and tosses it at her. Becky says Liv is lucky she has a private jet to catch and walks off.

Big E lifts Owens for the Big Ending but Rollins distracts him, allowing Owens to superkick him and tags Rollins for a frog splash and a near-fall. Rollins lifts Owens up and he powerbombs him on the apron. They then set Lashley on the steel steps and Rollins hits another Stomp! Owens and Rollins get in the ring and shake hands.
