Bryan Danielson is a household name in the world of professional wrestling right now. He spent several years honing his craft in various pro wrestling promotions all over the world before making his way to WWE. It seems their recent match got huge props.
At AEW Dynamite Winter is coming, Bryan Danielson challenged Adam Page for the AEW World Championship in what was nothing less than an instant classic between the two competitors.
Both of them gave it their all in order to come out with the win. Ultimately, the match ended in a 60 minute time limit draw, due to which Adam Page retained his AEW World Championship.
While speaking Smack Talk, former WWE manager Dutch Mantell talked about the 60-minute match. Mantell said that match could have been 30 minutes long and then gave huge props to Tony Khan for having the confidence to book a 1-hour long match for a 2-hour show.
“Well, I think a 30-minute draw would have been better. I think they could have put all their offence in a shorter time, but if Tony Khan had confidence enough to have them go, and Danielson did, and I heard it was a great match. And I trulysalute Tony Khan for having the confidence to book it. See, when you book something, you never know how it will turn out. You are hoping for the best. But he said, you know we do this in an hour, and it dragged in the middle, and these guys pick him up. You know he has had to have some second thoughts about that.”
Bryan Danielson will get a rematch for the AEW World Championship as well. We will have to wait and see when Bryan Danielson and Adam Page will have a rematch again, as their feud is not over just yet.
