Renee Paquette’s career has always led her back to wrestling. Before signing with WWE, she was a host on “Right After Wrestling” for The Score in Canada along with Mauro Ranallo and former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas. As a Canadian, wrestling and hockey were baked into her being from an early age. Now she has circled back around to hockey.

She became Renee Young when signing with WWE in October of 2012. Renee quickly became one of the most popular interviewers and commentators in the company. Many believed she had a future ahead of her in legitimate sports.

Paquette left WWE in 2020 to pursue other opportunities. Along the way, she started the wildly popular “Oral Sessions” podcast. She mostly sticks to wrestling and combat sports on the show, but her love for hockey will soon get a national audience. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Renee has signed a deal to host a new show on the NHL Network.

“Renee Paquette has gotten a gig with the NHL Network doing a show with Jackie Redmond called Jack and Paq. The weekly talk show will be based around interviewing players and talking about the news. [Paquette] and Redmond have known each other dating back to both working in the Toronto media”

Renee has also proven to be a good soul away from the cameras. She has been extremely supportive of her husband Jon Moxley in his struggle with substance abuse. Paquette has shown strength and resolve since Mox checked into an inpatient rehab center for treatment.

Paquette is one of the most personable and talented broadcasters to come through the wrestling industry. Her versatility will serve her well as she takes on this new endeavor. She’s handled her personal and professional live with grace. Talking pucks should be no problem at all.
