WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is without a doubt one of the best technical pro wrestlers the pro wrestling industry has ever seen. He is also a controversial wrestler whose views haven’t always been seen in the best of ways. It seems he is open to a very interesting match.
Despite all his controversy, Bret Hart’s influence on the pro wrestling industry is continued to be felt throughout the pro wrestling world. During the mid-90s he was at the height of his popularity as well.
While speaking on his Instagram page, Bret Hart was asked by a fan if he would ever consider returning to WWE as an on-screen character. Hart stated that he would consider returning to WWE if he could have a match against Donald Trump with Vince McMahon as the referee.
“I mean if there was something where it’s like I could wrestle Donald Trump at WrestleMania and Vince McMahon was gonna referee it or something, I’d hear it out because it’d be funny to hear it but the thought of me going in there and wrestling somebody is pretty unlikely and as far as managers and all that kind of stuff, I don’t — Bret Hart was a wrestler, not a manager and I don’t wanna be remembered as a manager and so I would never do it. I was a great wrestler.”
Bret Hart’s contributions to the pro wrestling industry can never be understated and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. We wonder if he will ever return to WWE in the future or not.
H/T Post Wrestling for the quotes.
