AEW had to cut to commercial break multiple times throughout their match. Page and Danielson traded move for move as the packed Texas crowd cheered them on. Everyone in the crowd was making noise, no matter who they were rooting for.

During their heated encounter, Bryan Danielson shoved Page off the top rope and he went crashing onto the ring apron. Then Danielson capitalized on the opportunity and rammed Page into the ring post several times. He also stretched his arm around the post. Page was bloody after that after blading outside of the ring while Bryan Danielson posed for the booing crowd.

This match was the longest contest in AEW Dynamite history and each man came very close to pulling off the big win. In the end, Danielson countered a Buckshot Lariat and latched in the LeBell Lock. Page tried to make his way to the ropes as the announcement was made that they only had one minute left in the match.

The two wrestled intensely until the final moments of the match as they approached an hour time limit draw. Suddenly, Hangman Page nailed a Buckshot Lariat as the bell rang. This match was a draw as Bryan Danielson wrestled in his second time limit draw in his short AEW career. His first time limit draw was in his AEW debut against Kenny Omega.
