According to a report from Bodyslam.net, AEW has inked a deal with Brody King. It was not noted when he is set to debut, but the former ROH standout will soon make his way to Tony Khan’s company.
I spoke with multiple sources and have confirmed that Brody King has signed with All Elite Wrestling. When I asked about King’s signing, one source told me that he was told on thanksgiving weekend it was a done deal, and that he believed the signing happened almost immediately following the ROH news.
Malakai Black teased a new member in the House Of Black. Many fans assumed that this was Brody King, because the two recently reunited at a PWG show and became tag team champions.
King is a man that CM Punk namedropped in a big way when saying that he wants to see him join AEW’s roster. Now that is set to happen for King. Only time will tell how many other former ROH stars find their way to AEW, because Tony Khan strongly hinted that a few wrestlers could be on their way to his company.
