WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart is without a doubt one of the best technical pro wrestlers the pro wrestling industry has ever seen. He is also a controversial wrestler whose views haven’t always been seen in the best of ways. It seems he also made an interesting claim recently.
Despite all his controversy, Bret Hart’s influence on the pro wrestling industry is continued to be felt throughout the pro wrestling world. During the mid-90s he was at the height of his popularity as well.
Bret Hart was doing a Q&A session on Canada’s Walk of Fame’s Instagram stories recently. During the session, Hart talked about his classic WrestleMania 13 match against Stone Cold Steve Austin and claimed that it’s better than any UFC fight.
There are people out there who have watched wrestling matches who don’t know who Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart is. They’ll say, ‘show me.’ Then you put on WrestleMania 13 with Steve Austin. It’s better than a UFC fight. It’s real, violent and brutal as any kind of MMA match.
There’s one thing you have to know is, nobody gets hurt in this match. They go back to the dressing room, hug each other, smile and shake hands and say ‘that was a great match.’ That’s what I did and I think I did it better than anyone better on the planet
Bret Hart’s contributions to the pro wrestling industry can never be understated and that is unlikely to change anytime soon.
