Sonya Deville made her return to WWE television back in January of this year in a non-wrestling role. Since then, she has been a mainstay of Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown alongside Adam Pearce as a WWE official. It seems Deville has a dream match in mind for her.

Sonya Deville last competed at SummerSlam last year where she lost a loser leaves WWE match to Mandy Rose. She also had a lot to deal with in her personal life during that time as she faced a terrible stalker experience. That changed last month as she teamed up with Shayna Baszler and took on Naomi in a handicap match.

However, Deville did not compete in the handicap match. She also walked out on her match against Naomi, losing via countout. Despite this, she does have an interest in stepping back inside the squared circle.

While speaking with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Sonya Deville was asked who she wants to face at WrestleMania. Deville revealed that she wants to square off against Becky Lynch.

“I’ve yet to have my singles match at WrestleMania and that’s obviously a goal of mine in the near future. There’s so many scenarios that I would love. I’ve always said that I would love to face Becky Lynch because I just think the dichatomy of her character and my character would be so cool. There would be a lot of large energy in the room and I think that would be a really cool matchup.”

Sonya Deville also explained that she is in no rush to make an in-ring return anytime soon. We will have to wait and see whether Deville will face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania or not in the future.
