Matt Hardy Says Jeff Hardy’s WWE Drug Test Will Come Out Clean

Jeff Hardy is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, having worked in the business for well over two decades now. He was one of the mainstays of WWE television since returning to the company back in 2017. It seems his brother Matt made an interesting claim recently.

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy together formed The Hardy Boyz and are still regarded as one of the best tag teams in pro wrestling history. They are undoubtedly one of the most decorated tag teams in the business as they have won tag team gold in several companies.

Jeff Hardy was released last week by WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

While speaking on a recent Twitch stream, Matt Hardy stated that Jeff Hardy took a drug test. The results have yet to be determined, but Hardy is confident his brother will be fully clean.

“Before anyone rushes to judgment, obviously they [WWE] drug tested him after all this stuff, wait until you hear the results of that and when that comes back clean then hopefully people will feel better about it.”

It was also said that Jeff Hardy appeared sober before walking out of his last match in WWE. Jim Cornette also berated WWE for using Jeff Hardy’s history of substance abuse in storylines. We hope Hardy gets the necessary care that he needs to combat his demons and will have to wait and see what is next in store for him.
