Karrion Kross’ Match Against Jeff Hardy Was Cut Significantly Short

Karrion Kross had a solid run in NXT, where he went on to win the NXT title twice. Unfortunately, his main roster run was far from great in comparison. He was eventually released by the company last month.

During his main roster debut on Monday Night RAW, he squared off against Jeff Hardy in a singles match. Karrion Kross lost the match in a very short time after Jeff Hardy won with a roll up pin. Naturally, this upset many fans who couldn’t believe something like this happened to Karrion Kross.

Even Jeff Hardy was recently released from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

While speaking to K & S WrestleFest, Scarlett Bordeaux revealed that Jeff Hardy and Karrion Kross’ first match was originally going to be 10 minutes long. However, it was then cut to 90 seconds.

“Originally, I can say this, the match was supposed to be ten minutes. The first match with him [Killer Kross] and Jeff [Hardy] and then they get out there and it’s, ‘You have 90 seconds.’ Time got cut. That happens all the time out there

It remains to be seen what is next in store for both Karrion Kross and Jeff Hardy, now that both of them are no longer working in WWE.
