Many consider Cesaro as one of the most criminally underrated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. The Swiss Superman has shown time and time again why he is one of the best in-ring performers in the company. Now it seems he teased a first-time-ever match as well.
It came to such a point that even WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley said he would literally get on his knees and beg Vince McMahon to give Cesaro a chance in the company.
Cesaro is a multi-time tag team champion and has won the WWE United States Championship as well. However, in his 8-year tenure in WWE, Cesaro has yet to win a world title in the company.
While speaking to Megan Morant, Cesaro hinted at squaring off against Dew McIntyre for the first time ever as he mentioned McIntyre’s win over Sheamus on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown.
“I’m still upset about Sheamus beating me last week, so I hope I can get in the ring with him fairly soon and pay him back for that. It’s fun watching Drew. I’ve never had a match with Drew, so something to think about.”
Cesaro also recently teased a match against Brock Lesnar. He was also in the main event scene earlier this year, as he lost to Roman Reigns in a WWE Universal Title match. We will have to wait and see if the company will eventually pull the trigger on him or not.
