Mr. Kennedy had a bright future in WWE as many felt he was going to be the next big thing in the company. He had a rocket strapped to his back and was destined for greatness. It seems Bruce Prichard was shocked about Kennedy having backstage heat.

Mr. Kennedy had an undefeated streak in 2006 and was later pushed to win the Money in the Bank contract. Unfortunately, a series of injuries and backstage issues ultimately derailed his numerous pushes.

While speaking on his Something To Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard discussed Mr Kennedy’s run in WWE. Bruce Prichard stated that he was shocked to know Kennedy had heat on him backstage in WWE.

“I was notthere when that happened and frankly, was a little shocked when I read it in that timeframe. So, I really have no idea what happened. I really don’t know if Ken just fell out of favor or if people got to the point where you’re trying to take him to the promised land, but he simply should not cross the line. So, I really don’t know what happened there.”
