Tommaso Ciampa’s Plan To Create WarGames Gear Hoping It Would Become An Action Figure Pays Off

Tommaso Ciampa designed his 2020 NXT WarGames ring gear with one thing in the back of his mind. He wanted it to become an action figure. Now, the NXT Champion’s wish has come true.

Ciampa talked about the figure during an unboxing video for Ringside Collectibles. Known as the “Blackheart Exclusive” figure, Ciampa couldn’t be prouder. He says the entire idea behind his wardrobe was to eventually have an action figure produced.

“This was a one-off. The only time I ever wore it was WarGames and guys, they killed this thing. The detail, the packaging, the tank from WarGames. I love it. I love everything about it.

The mask was custom made from start to finish. The entire thing was designed with me hoping that one day I would get an action figure from Ringside Collectibles and it’s exactly what happened. I couldn’t be more excited.”

Tommaso Ciampa said the craftsmanship and design on the figure were spot-on. He praised the attention to detail the designers included. The outfit certainly stood out, and now it is immortalized as an action figure.

Ciampa took part in this year’s NXT WarGames, as well. He represented the old-school, black and gold version of the brand against Team NXT 2.0. The old guard wrestlers were defeated by the newcomers after Bron Breakker powerslammed the champion to secure the pinfall victory.
