Karrion Kross had a solid run in NXT, where he went on to win the NXT title twice. Unfortunately, his main roster run was far from great in comparison. He was eventually released by the company last month.
On the other hand, Jeff Hardy is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, having worked in the business for well over two decades now. He was one of the mainstays of WWE television since returning to the company back in 2017.
Unfortunately, he was recently released from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it, which includes Karrion Kross, who took to Twitter and stated that working with Jeff Hardy was a career highlight for him.
“This may surprise a lot of people but honestly- working with Jeff was a career highlight for me. Grew up buying all his shirts, love him as a human being. Had a ton of fun working house shows with him too. Him & I were hoping they’d play that song as he requested it back for fans.”
Jim Cornette also berated WWE for using Jeff Hardy’s history of substance abuse in storylines. We hope Hardy gets the necessary care that he needs to combat his demons and will have to wait and see what is next in store for him.
