Bronson Rechsteiner, son of Rick Steiner, was working hard at the WWE Performance Center for months. He even appeared on NXT television as an extra as well. On the debut episode of NXT 2.0 in September, Rechsteiner got a new name as he is now known as Bron Breakker.
Breakker was even leading the polls for the best NXT 2.0 debut, which was simply a way for the company to put him over. Matt Riddle also compared Bron Breakker to a young Goldberg.
Bron Breakker was part of Team 2.0 at NXT WarGames, where his team squared off against Team Ciampa, which comprised of the NXT veterans. In the end, Breakker pinned Tommaso Ciampa for the win.
While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette gave big props to Bron Breakker for being naturally talented. He added that it will be hard for WWE to screw up Breakker.
“I have to be honest with you. The only way they can screw it up is if they run him out of the wrestling business and he has no desire to do it because he is miserable. Breakker is close to being bulletproof because he has seen his dad and obviously worked out with his dad or his uncle, or both, because he did not just learn all this in a training class. He is one of those people that have natural charisma and is going to make people react and respond.
The promos he is doing already and the attitude he possesses, it is a throwback in terms of ‘yeah I’m a f****** meathead, I wanna stretch you.’ The fans are so hungry for something like that because you simply cannot find them anymore.”
Bron Breakker also said that wrestling in the wargames match was a dream for him. Jim Cornette also believes that Bron Breakker could become a top talent like The Rock. It remains to be seen what is next in store for Bron Breakker.
