AEW’s inception came about at Double Or Nothing 2019 and since then, the company has done all it could to provide a product that true lovers of pro wrestling would enjoy. For the most part, they have succeeded, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole to their roster, ensuring that the roster is one of the most stacked in all of pro wrestling.

While speaking on the My Mom’s Basement podcast, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that WWE recently contacted him. Khan stated that WWE simply wanted talents from his company, who used to work in WWE as they will appear in a few of their upcoming biographies.

“I heard from them recently, I’ll break this news here. They are doing documentaries and biographies and wanted to use some people from AEW. It’s gonna come out sooner or later. They wanted to interview some people who wrestle here, used to wrestle there, that have history there, so, we’ll see. I’m open to talking, I heard from them, and they were very nice.”

This is not the first time WWE contacted Tony Khan as he was also contacted around the time Chris Jericho made his appearance during ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions podcast as well.
