MJF is considered as one of the best heels in the modern-day pro wrestling world and there is a very good reason for that. He quickly cemented himself as a top star and remains one of the highlights of AEW television since the debut of AEW back in 2019.

The Salt of the Earth is dedicated to his character as he never breaks kayfabe, inside or outside the squared circle. His dedication to his credit has won him over with fans who simply love to hate him.

As seen on a previous week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk and MJF engaged in a war of words that saw CM Punk referencing the likes of The Miz and Triple H and others. It received a lot of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike. Even after that, the two continued to trade barbs on every single show.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno talked about CM Punk and MJF’s skills on the microphone, as he gave both of them huge props for not sounding like they are reading scripted promos.

CM Punk and MJF do not sound like they are merely reading scripted promos or memorizing written scripted promos, which most of the wrestlers do nowadays. I do believ that both of them are terrific talkers. MJF, very well spoken. First of all, it is hard to be a fast talker on the mic and not stumble over your words ever. Which MJF never does.

Bully Ray also believes that MJF could verbally eviscerate CM Punk. We will have to wait and see how AEW will book CM Punk and MJF’s feud in the coming weeks as it continues to intensify every week.
