John Cena Pays Homage To Johnny Gargano After Possible WWE NXT Exit

Johnny Gargano has been called Johnny TakeOver and other nicknames thanks to his incredible run in NXT. Gargano has produced classic matches with the likes of Tommaso Ciampa and Adam Cole. It seems John Cena paid tribute to him as well.

Ahead of NXT WarGames, Tommaso Ciampa strongly hinted that it will be Gargano’s final match on NXT. During the WarGames match, Team Ciampa worked very hard and tried to come up with the win. They lost the match and Gargano even addressed the crowd.

During this week’s episode of NXT 2.0, Gargano made it clear that his status in NXT is up in the air. However, many fans realized that it was truly the end of the line for Johnny Gargano.

In the likelihood of Gargano’s exit from NXT 2.0, John Cena took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of Johnny Gargano, paying homage to him for his time with the company.

Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly also had emotional moments after the conclusion of NXT 2.0 this week. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Johnny Gargano as his time in WWE is seemingly done.
