The Young Bucks are truly geniuses as far as the business side of pro wrestling is concerned because they continue to sell a lot of merchandise. They have cashed in on a variety of incidents over the years, especially involving WWE. Now it seems  Jim Cornette has an interesting take on them.

On the other hand, Chris Jericho is one of the most legendary pro wrestlers of all time and has been instrumental in AEW’s initial success. However, not everyone agrees with Jericho being a benefit to AEW.

While speaking on his The Jim Cornette Experience podcast, Jim Cornette was asked whether Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks leaving AEW would have a negative effect on the company. Cornette stated that their leaving wouldn’t hurt AEW at all. In fact, it would rather benefit AEW in the long run.

“[Would losing Jericho and The Bucks hurt AEW?] I don’t see how. The people are going to come, [people] that like AEW. Regardless of who is on the card, because they like AEW. It’s like an ECW thing. But no, the match quality would go drastically up if we didn’t have to see [The Young Bucks] all the time. And Jericho, we wouldn’t have to see him latching onto the guys that can still go and trying to sap all of the interest off of them. [Them leaving] would make a better show as well. If they lost Danielson, they lost Punk, it would hurt. Jericho and [The Young Bucks], eh.”

There is no denying how instrumental Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks were for AEW’s success and it is highly unlikely either of them will be leaving the company anytime soon.
