Chris Jericho’s contributions as a pro wrestler need no introduction. He has competed in various promotions all around the globe for three decades. Jericho is also proud to be working in AEW and isn’t afraid to show it. Being a veteran in the business, he doesn’t really have much care about what his haters have to say.

There is no doubt that Chris Jericho helped carry AEW during its first year, as he was the first AEW World Champion and helped garner viewers for their shows. He has helped put over several talents such as Orange Cassidy and MJF as well, among others.

While speaking to Newsweek, the legendary wrestler revealed that he no longer has to worry about missing time on AEW television as the company has grown significantly now compared to two years ago.

“We started it and we made it something viable right out of the gate. I’ll always take great pride in that and I’ll always take great pride in that fact that now I can be in Ireland on tour with Fozzy, missing a couple of weeks of Dynamite, and I don’t have to worry like I did before. Because now our roster has so many stars on it that they can take a couple of weeks with no Chris Jericho and some people might not even notice.”
