Maryse’s WWE Status After RAW Return

Maryse returned to WWE television last week, along with her real-life husband, The Miz. Many fans were excited to see the pair reunited on camera. Rumors quickly swirled of an upcoming feud with Edge and his wife, Beth Phoenix.

We can now confirm that Maryse will be around for a while. Mike Johnson of PW Insider has reported that Maryse has already signed a contract with WWE. She will become a regular member of the Monday Night Raw roster.

The couple are also currently filming the next season of their reality show, Miz & Mrs. Most of her on-screen time with Miz since 2016 has been on the show. Now, they will get to share some face time in front of the WWE Universe.

Maryse was originally discovered by WWE during the 2006 Diva Search. She was the second person eliminated from the competition. The company saw something in her, however, and invited her to train. Her in-ring debut came with Ohio Valley Wrestling in 2006, and she signed with WWE in 2007.

With the third season of Miz and Mrs. under production, it makes sense for WWE to bring her back. The two can play a strong on-screen power couple while also promoting their show. The new season is expected to be released some time in 2022.

The couple met during Maryse’s competition in the Diva Search. They were married in 2014. They continue to be one of the company’s most in-demand pairs.
