Bryan Danielson’s accolades as a professional wrestler certainly need no introductions as they proved to be one of the best in the business. He spent several years working in WWE as one of their top stars and towards the end of his run, Bryan Danielson was even part of WWE Creative. It seems he does not want to be credited for Edge and CM Punk’s return.

The past couple of years have been significant for professional wrestling as a whole. This is because it saw the returns of Edge, CM Punk and Christian Cage, after being away from in-ring competition for several years.

While speaking to TV Insider, Bryan Danielson was asked if he had a hand in the returns of Edge, CM Punk and Christian Cage. Danielson made it clear he didn’t want to take credit for their returns as they all worked hard on their own.

“I don’t want to take too much credit. The guys have to put in the work. One of the things that made my comeback possible and others is the emergence of better technology and health advances. (…) I think it comes down to the belief that you can do it. It’s hard to be away from wrestling for seven years. I questioned if I can keep up in AEW. I’d been wrestling for the last several years and watched AEW. The stuff they do is crazy. To try and keep up, you have to have that belief you can do it.”
