Mance Warner was one of two wrestlers to suffer major injuries on Halloween in Tennessee. Warner broke his tibia and fibia, putting him out of action for a lengthy period. At the same NGW show, Danhausen broke his leg in two places.

Mance spoke about the injury on ManceSplaninin. In his match with Dirty Dango (WWE’s Fandango), he was thrown out of the ring. He instantly knew something was terribly wrong.

“He [Dirty Dango] chucked me out of the ring and when I hit the ground, I heard…it was like two shotguns going off. Boom! Boom! I heard it and I instantly knew I was f*cked. The crowd knew I was f*cked. As soon as I heard it, you could hear people gasp.

It was horrible. It sucked. I called it a Psycho Sid. I was f*cked. I’m gonna have to start doing commentary or some bullsh*t. The paramedics come in and tell me they’re going to take my boot off. (My bone) wasn’t sticking out.

I wear this ankle brace anyway because I’m prone to rolling my ankles when I’m on the (basketball) court slam dunking fools. They said if I hadn’t worn that, the bone most likely would’ve popped through. When I broke it, I broke the (tibia) and (fibia).”

Warner said he will take the proper time to heal the injury but doesn’t believe his career is over. He doesn’t know when he’s coming back. He said the doctors placed a rod and several plates and screws to repair the damage. He is able to talk a little bit. There is a GoFundMe to help with Mance Warner’s medical bills in case fans would like to help out.
