Bully Ray Comes Down On Big E’s Performance Against Roman Reigns At WWE Survivor Series

Big E’s journey to the top of WWE has been one full of hurdles and obstacles at every step of the way. After a solid run in NXT, Big E made his way to the main roster but was eventually lost in the shuffle. It seems Bully Ray wasn’t a fan of Big E’s recent match against Roman Reigns.

While Big E is certainly one of the most positive people in the company, even he isn’t immune to suffering from crushing lows during his career which made him feel lost.

Big E squared off against Roman Reigns in the main event of the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view in a champion vs champion match. The match was certainly a great one, to say the least. In the end, The Tribal Chief reigned supreme as he defeated the WWE Champion.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray talked about Big E’s match against Roman Reigns. Ray criticized the match for not helping Big E get over as Roman Reigns defeated Big E clean as a whistle.

“Roman Reigns defeated Big E as clean, as clean could be. There was no, ‘Well, one guy went over and one guy got over.’ No matter what, Big E is gonna get over simply by having a solid match. However, in this case, it was not that definitive, ‘Wow, Big E really got over in that match with Roman, and Roman just slipped over.’ No! Spear, dead, one, two, three. You’re outta there.”

Big E also recently stated that people don’t realize just how good Roman Reigns really is. We will have to wait and see how Big E will fare in his match against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens at WWE Day 1 on January 1st, 2022.
