WWE Hall Of Famer Edge is certainly one of the most established Superstars in the company’s history. He has done it all as far as being a pro wrestler is concerned. It seems he has been called out for not caring about his current feud.
Since Edge returned to WWE last year, he has remained a highlight of WWE television. His battles with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton received a lot of praise as well.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Edge returned and immediately got into a promo battle with The Miz. It was a scathing promo and also included Edge saying The Miz left John Morrison high and dry as he got fired.
While speaking on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo talked about Edge and The Miz’s promo. Russo called out Edge for not caring about his feud with The Miz, which was based on a flimsy weak as well.
“Like is this the angle? The Miz doesn’t get an Edge introduction… I don’t get the attention you get. I wrote it down here literally like bro, this is written for donkeys, like ponies. Like, who are you writing this for? And again, Miz and Edge get these scripts, ‘Oh yeah, bro, that’s the angle, I’m getting a big entrance and they’re billboarding me coming back on RAW and Miz isn’t. People will really get into that angle.’ Aside from their work rate, nobody cares! Edge does not care. They’ll say whatever they’re told to say. They’re getting paid well. And bro, that’s fine, but don’t expect people at home to care.”
John Morrison also reacted to Edge mentioning his WWE release during his promo on Monday Night RAW. We will have to wait and see how Edge and The MIz’s feud will develop in the coming weeks.
