WWE has had a hard time filling seats for tonight’s Raw at the new UBS Center on Long Island. As AEW quickly filled their availability and opened more seats to fans in the same building, WWE has made several appeals to move tickets and avoid an embarrassing loss to the competition.

One former WWE superstar took a jab at the failure on Twitter. Matt Cardona, who wrestled there as Zack Ryder, suggested he might be a bigger draw than Roman Reigns or half-priced tickets. His “Long Island Iced Z” character became incredible popular for the company, as he declared himself Internet Champion.

“Maybe they should call Long Island Iced Z…”

WrestleTix reported that there are currently 5,264 tickets distributed for tonight’s Raw. AEW has sold over 9,000 tickets to the same venue for a Dynamite and Rampage taping. That show takes place on December 8, so there’s still time to sell even more tickets.

Thus far, the company as added Roman Reigns to the show, scheduled WWE Champion Big E against Kevin Owens, offered half-price and buy-one-get-one free ticket deals, and had Black Friday discounts in an effort to increase attendance. So far, they’re barely over halfway to the total amount AEW has sold in the venue.

It’s yet to be determined whether Raw will attract a significant walk-up crowd. It looks like AEW will significantly outdraw the company in the new arena. WWE Raw airs tonight at 8PM eastern on USA.
