CM Punk made his All Elite Wrestling debut a few months ago at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. This was a move that created a lot of buzz for the company. Tony Schiavone considered it the greatest debut in pro wrestling history.

CM Punk has become one of the mainstays of AEW television and has feuded against the likes of Darby Allin, Eddie Kingston and others. Finally, CM Punk started a long-awaited feud with MJF.

On last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk and MJF engaged in a war of words that saw CM Punk referencing the likes of The Miz and Triple H and others. It received a lot of praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike.

While speaking on Keepin’ It 100, Disco Inferno talked about CM Punk and MJF’s promo battle. Inferno criticized the segment for being too long and for everything that ensued afterwards being similar to Monday Night RAW.

“You could have done an interruption in the middle of it. It was nowhere near as epic as people are making it out to be. It was too long and they were dragging a little bit. Then why is he wrestling QT Marshall and why is he taking time to beat him? That segment was like what they do on Monday Night RAW. Where two wrestlers come out and do a promo and one man takes the whole 40 minutes of the show.”

We will have to wait and see how AEW will book CM Punk and MJF’s feud as it is certainly one of the best things going on in the company right now as fans can’t get enough of it.
