Why Vince McMahon Will Never Sell WWE

Vince McMahon is the Chairman of WWE and oversees everything that goes on in the company. However, due to the decline in quality of the product over the past few years, many fans have been wondering when Vince McMahon will step down and let Triple H take over.

For well over a year now WWE has been releasing several talents, with the company having released over 82 Superstars just this year alone. Due to this, many fans have started wondering whether Vince McMahon will sell WWE in the future or not.

While speaking on the 83 Weeks Podcast, Eric Bischoff addressed the rumors of Vince McMahon selling WWE after releasing so many talents over the year. Bischoff explained why he doesn’t believe Vince would ever sell the company and would rather hand it over to someone within his family.

“One of the reasons I was so steadfast in my opinion that WWE under Vince McMahon will never sell is because of the strong impression that I had over many, many years and even working with Vince very closely for a short time, it’s so obvious to me that Vince holds the legacy of his father and grandfather so highly.

It’s evident when you walk into Vince’s office, right? It’s not a mystery, you can figure it out pretty quickly. I’ve just always believed because of that legacy and how highly apparent to me that Vince holds that legacy, and that he’s got Stephanie and Shane and by virtue of marriage Triple H, and he’s got grandchildren. I just would believe that, I’ve always believed that Vince would be far more predisposed to allowing his family to carry on that legacy that means so much to Vince.”

While the topic of WWE getting sold gained some steam after the company released several WWE Superstars and members of staff in the past few months, it is highly unlikely the company will be sold anytime soon.
