Jeff Hardy’s subpar booking Monday Night RAW led many to believe that the company has given up on pushing him. Fans also vented about the same on social media. It seems Hardy was furious after his match against his brother Matt Hardy.
It even came to a point that his brother Matt Hardy talked about the subject of his poor booking in the company. Despite all that, Jeff Hardy made it clear that he is simply there to do his job and that is all that he cares about.
Jeff and Matt Hardy were engaged in an intense feud during the first few months of 2009, where Matt turned on his brother. It culminated in an Extreme Rules match at WrestleMania 25. In the end, Matt Hardy won the match after a hard-fought battle.
While speaking on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, Jeff Hardy recalled how he was furious after his match with his brother due to its short length. Hardy vented his frustrations to Vince McMahon as well.
“Vince McMahon and I ended up having a conversation after that. I think he sort of liked that he saw how mad I was, because I was throwing stuff, ‘I cannot believe we were not able to do that stuff we wanted to do.’ We did a lot, more than enough, but it was still. The passion within me really ignited that night after the match. I was genuinely upset.”
Jeff Hardy also recently hinted at a reunion with his brother Matt after his WWE contract expires next year. We will have to see when The Hardy Boyz reunite again in the future.
