Shayna Baszler Thinks Becky Lynch Left WWE Irresponsibly Because Of Her Baby

Shayna Baszler had a very impactful debut on the main roster as she was immediately engaged with Becky Lynch. Lynch was the RAW Women’s Champion at that time. It seems Baszler has an interesting take on Becky Lynch taking leave last year.

The two would eventually clash at WrestleMania 36 for the RAW Women’s Championship. However, despite being booked as a strong competitor, Shayna Baszler would lose to Becky Lynch at the Show of Shows and this simply did not sit well with fans.

While speaking with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, Shayna Baszler was asked about the real-life tensions between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Baszler made it clear she couldn’t care less and then also stated that Becky Lynch left irresponsibly because of her baby.

“I do not prefer either of them. I have some unfinished business with Becky, and I feel like she conveniently, irresponsibly left when she was champion. If you are champion, you take measures to ensure, just like Ronda at least waited till she had no longer has a responsibility as the champion, ‘so okay, now is the good time to start this.”

Becky Lynch came back at WWE SummerSlam and since then has been involved in the main event scene. She is currently the RAW Women’s Champion and is engaged in a feud with Liv Morgan, so we will have to wait and see how their feud develops.
