Roman Reigns is on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam last year. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long.
Roman Reigns has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.
Roman Reigns and Big E duked it out in the main event of the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view in a champion vs champion match. The match was certainly a great one, to say the least. In the end, The Tribal Chief reigned supreme as he defeated the WWE Champion.
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Roman Reigns’ Special Counsel Paul Heyman talked about Roman Reigns’ next goal after WWE Survivor Series. Heyman stated that his next goal is to be better every day.
“The next goal for Roman Reigns is clear, and that is to be better tomorrow than he is today. His goal is to be better in two weeks than he is next week, to make next week’s SmackDown better than this week, and to make the SmackDown that airs in three weeks better than it is in two weeks. Roman Reigns continues to set a pace and achieve levels that no one in WWE has ever or will ever achieve. The world has the privilege and joy of watching it unfold every Friday on SmackDown.”
WWE already hinted at Roman Reigns’ next challenger on the upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown this week. Paul Heyman also recently stated that Roman Reigns doesn’t have any viable opponents. So it remains to be seen who Reigns’ next opponent will be on Friday Night Smackdown.
