NXT has its WarGames show coming up on December 5. With the women’s match mostly set going into last night’s show, the men’s division needed to start the build for their match. We now know who will take part in the dangerous double ring double cage brawl.

A huge melee broke out to end last night’s NXT 2.0. Tony D’Angelo helped Carmelo Hayes hold on to the North American title after interfering in a three-way match between Hayes, Johnny Gargano, and Pete Dunne. Meanwhile, Grayson Waller and LA Knight had been fighting throughout the building recently. That led to the ultimate confrontation.

Their fight wound up at ringside. Carmelo and Trick Williams tried to injure Johnny with a chair. Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa also got involved in the fray. The WarGames match is now set up.

The “old school” of NXT will take on the “new school” in a storyline reminiscent of many similar ones in the past. The old guard consists of Tommaso Ciampa, LA Knight, Pete Dunne, and Johnny Gargano. The new blood is made up of Carmelo Hayes, Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller, and Bron Breakker.
