Jim Ross has been under the strain of various health problems. While Ross has been in the battle with cancer, he is hellbent on remaining active. Ross had previously stated that despite his battle with cancer, he would be a part of AEW Dynamite on November 24th.
Ross’ back surgery, however, was a crutch in these plans. Apparently the legendary commentator is not letting the surgery stop him as well, as his new tweet suggests. The former WWE commentator took to Twitter in order to share on update on his surgery while hyping the latest episode of AEW Dynamite.
Posting a picture of his back all stitched up after the surgery, JR reassured fans that he will be part of the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite. He let fans know in his standard gold style of opening a show, captioning the post:
GAME DAY IN CHICAGO FOR @AEWonTNT 9/8 CT This card is loaded! The arena is SOLD OUT! Hope you join us!
JR spirit to remain active despite his cancer diagnosis is truly breathe taking. He was even in the audience for the Jacksonville Jaguars game, courtesy of Tony Khan.
This week’s AEW Dynamite marks a crucial episode as well. It features Chicago’s very own CM Punk and Colt Cabana taking on the center stage. CM Punk will fight off QT Marshal while Bryan Danielson and Colt Cabana will clash against each other.
