AEW To Unveil Owen Hart Cup Tournament At Winter Is Coming

AEW has been doing a lot of innovative things as Tony Khan has declared WWE their competition. Many spoke against this idea. Booker T said that Khan shouldn’t get too ahead of himself. Former WCW CEO Erich Bischoff received backlash from Chris Jericho after his take on AEW vs WWE.

The latest upcoming event for AEW is AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming. Tony Khan has been hyping up the event, and he revealed on Twitter that great revelations will be made on AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming. He said that plans for the Owen Hart Cup Tournament will be fully laid out on the event.

AEW has been teasing a partnership with the Owen Hart Foundation since a while. In September, they finally inked a deal with the foundation, and seek to honor Hart’s memory. Le Champion Chris Jericho revealed later on that AEW has plans to honor Hart with a special event.

AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming is teasing a lot of big things. The event will air on December 15 from Texas’ Curtis Culwell Center. With Kenny Omega out to recover from his injuries, let’s see what AEW has in store for the event.
