Seth Rollins Had An Interesting Reaction To Becky Lynch Hanging Out With Big E

Seth Rollins recently became the #1 contender to Big E‘s WWE championship. The build has begun for a title match between the two superstars. The cunning Seth has already started the mind games, this time via Twitter.

After a fan posted a picture of Becky Lynch and E at an NBA game together, Rollins responded in a way only his master manipulator character would. A gif of a chess piece being moved from the Netflix series “The Queen’s Gambit” with no comment. He’s obviously implying that Becky is there to get inside Big E’s head somehow.

While Becky and Seth no longer work together on WWE television, it was a sneaky move to keep the fans engaged. Sometimes, wrestling storylines work best when they bleed over into real life. Rollins is using his personal relationship with Becky to put over his character’s feud with Big E. It’s very old school, but with a high-tech twist.

Seth Rollins pinned Matt Riddle on this week’s Raw in a tag match with The Usos against Big E and RK-Bro. He became the #1 contender by defeating Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Kevin Owens in a four-way match on the October 25th episode of Raw. He’ll compete in the men’s Survivor Series match for Team Raw this Sunday night.

Big E has plenty of history with Seth Rollins. He dropped the NXT title to Big E in December of 2012 (airing on January 9th). Rollins was the first ever NXT champion. Big E. followed it up with a six-month reign before losing the championship to Bo Dallas.
