Beth Phoenix Says Bron Breakker Is Undeniable

Beth Phoenix made an appearance on “Busted Open Radio” to promote the upcoming NXT 2.0 broadcast. While discussing NXT’s philosophy, Phoenix also took some time to hype up NXT Champion Bron Breakker.

Addressing NXT’s recent attempts to freshen up their brand more, Phoenix said that wrestlers are being uncuffed, and being given more opportunities to experiment. This, Phoenix believes, allows them to be more authentic.

Bron Breakker is undeniable. He has that energy and personality, and he’s very authentic. I feel like he’s not really playing a character. He is being himself.

Phoenix also stated that Breakker’s authenticity connects better with a younger audience, who she believes, “don’t need or want costumes.” Instead, Phoenix stated, the costumes just accentuate a wrestler’s personality.

It certainly sounds like Phoenix appreciates authenticity in general, and Breakker’s personality specifically. Here’s hoping that the champion continues to shine.
