Becky Lynch is not one to mince words. We’ve seen that throughout her rise in the industry and we’ve seen that in her feud with Charlotte Flair. She had to leave in 2020 to give birth to her daughter. Although her future was in question, fans saw soon though, that she would be making a return to the ring.
Becky Lynch had a spot as a guest on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. She was there to hype up the upcoming Survivor Series. “Big Time Becks” went into the fact that she was in fact more than ready to make her return at the last WrestleMania.
She also had a pitch ready, she revealed. She would eventually return at SummerSlam and shockingly defeat Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
“I was ready to return at WrestleMania really. I was kind of hoping, yeah, WrestleMania is a good time that will be four months, the body will be back and so, I was ready around WrestleMania time but it didn’t work out and I think it worked out for the better.
I had a couple of pitches and I had one pitched to me that would have been an interaction with Bayley, who was, at the time, the all-star of the pandemic era, the ThunderDome era. So, it would have been great to do a little something something with her.”
Becky Lynch is set to face Charlotte Flair in a Champion vs. Champion match this Sunday at Survivor Series. There’s definitely a lot of heat on that match, as they’ve been at it back and forth backstage and in front of the camera, as is now common knowledge. The outcome of that match will be interesting to see.
