The Undertaker is a legend in the world of professional wrestling. His undefeated streak at WrestleMania remains one of the greatest streaks in the history of the business. He gave more than three decades of his life to the business and The Undertaker’s contributions will never be forgotten.
The Undertaker’s streak came to an end at WrestleMania 30 in 2014, where he was defeated by Brock Lesnar, in a move that shook the pro wrestling world to its core. Due to this his streak ended after 21 consecutive wins.
Despite this, The Undertaker is synonymous with The Grandest Stage Of Them All thanks to the streak. Naturally, he has a high opinion on WrestleMania as well.
While speaking to Tobin McDuff, The Undertaker discussed the greatest time for a wrestler and stated that main eventing WrestleMania is the biggest compliment a superstar can get in WWE.
“Wrestlemania is the equivalent to our industry as the Super Bowl is to the NFL. You work your tail off all year so you’re on the card at Wrestlemania. That’s kinda your first goal. I want to be on the card at Wrestlemania. Ultimately, I think the greatest compliment that you can get is to be the Main Event at Wrestlemania.”
The Undertaker officially hung up his boots at last year’s Survivor Series pay-per-view. His final match saw him beating AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in a Boneyard Match. The Deadman is currently enjoying life after retirement and that is all the matters.
