Roman Reigns is the current WWE Universal Champion and is one of the top Superstars in the company right now. For a long time now, fans have been wondering when Roman Reigns and The Rock will duke it out at the Grandest Stage of Them All. It seems Booker T has another idea for the possible match.

Many believe a match between the two top stars would go down as one of the greatest matches in the history of WrestleMania. Despite all the hype, the match is unlikely to happen anytime soon, if at all.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T was asked if he’d like to see Roman Reigns square off against The Rock at WrestleMania 39 in 2023. Booker T stated that it is far too soon for the match to happen, but that fans would watch it no matter when it takes place.

“As far as that match happening, it can happen. I just think it’s way too soon for something like that to happen because, my thing is this, if The Rock comes back and face Roman, what do you do in that match? It’s almost like backing yourself in the corner if you do something like that right now. The payoff is so much bigger down the road if you’re going to do something like that. If The Rock could just maintain, stay in shape, that’s the only thing he has to do. That’s like Floyd-Pacquiao, you’re going to pay to see it. I don’t care if it’s far past his time, you’re going to pay to see it.”

The Rock also recently shut down rumors of squaring off against Roman Reigns as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if The Rock and Roman Reigns do end up facing each other somewhere down the line.
