AEW took the world by storm back in 2019 as it was the first pro wrestling company in a very long time that made waves in the pro wrestling world as a form of competition for WWE. It was certainly a risky endeavor as well because there was always the chance it was going to end up being a huge failure. It seems Tony Khan has changed his plans for bookings many times.

AEW has all the momentum in the world right now thanks to the debuts of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole to their roster. This has ensured that the roster is one of the most stacked in all of pro wrestling.

One of the key aspects of AEW is certainly their long-term storytelling. The company has been touted as one that always listens to what the fans want and it seems Khan lives by this belief.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW President Tony Khan talked about how fan reactions affect his decision to book a show. Khan admitted that he changed up plans several times due to how fans reacted to that particular storyline or match.

Yeah, I’ve definitely changed my mind based on the fans’ reactions before, many times. Definitely, I’ve changed planned plans. Certainly the fans reacting more positively or negatively to something than I expected does affect how I perceive the stories and the matches and the results.

Tony Khan also previously stated that he has a lot of long-term storylines planned in AEW. It remains to be seen what plans Tony Khan has in store for fans in the coming months.
