Petey Williams Getting Fast Tracked Into WWE Backstage Producer System

WWE brought Petey Williams on as a producer and he is learning the ropes backstage. It seem that the company sees a lot in him, because Williams is currently getting fast-tracked into their backstage system.

It was previously reported that Petey Williams was listed as a backstage producer for Roman Reigns vs Xavier Woods on SmackDown. This was an interesting placement since Michael Hayes seems to be the point person for all of Reigns’ matches.

Ringside News has learned that Michael Hayes was actually the producer for Roman Reigns vs Xavier Woods. Petey Williams was listed on the run sheet because he was shadowing Hayes.

We were also told that, “Petey Williams is shadowing Michael and other producers to get fast tracked into the system.” He will continue shadowing various producers as he learns WWE’s way of doing things, and they are giving him all the opportunity they can to learn the job.

Petey Williams most likely won’t be shadowing producers for long, because the company is putting him through the motions at a rapid pace. This also shows that WWE realizes the kind of pro wrestling mind Williams has and they want to utilize it.
