Adam Page Isn’t Surprised Bryan Danielson Is #1 Contender For The AEW World Title

Adam Page found his success with fans organically thanks to his relatable character work and excellent in-ring skills. He is also part of one of the most compelling storylines in AEW thanks to his storyline with Kenny Omega. It seems Adam Page commented on Bryan Danielson being his first challenger.

AEW Full Gear was a night of incredible moments and terrific matches, perhaps the best being the main event. It saw Adam Page challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.

In a culmination of a multi-year-long storyline, Adam Page finally defeated Kenny Omega to win the AEW World Championship – a promise he had made years prior. Earlier in the night, Bryan Danielson defeated Miro to become the #1 contender for the AEW World Championship.

While speaking during the post-AEW Full Gear media scrum, Adam Page talked about Bryan Danielson being his first challenger. Page made it clear he isn’t very surprised that Danielson is the #1 contender, but will think about it a couple of days later.

”I know I said Kenny was the best in the world. But if you had to challenge me for someone who could tie him, it would be Bryan Danielson. So I’m not very surprised he’s the one contender… That’s a lot to think about and I just won this damn thing. So I’m gonna think about this tonight and tomorrow morning. I’ll start thinking about Bryan Danielson.”

We will have to wait and see when Bryan Danielson will square off against Adam Page, as that is certainly going to be a dream match for many fans. It also remains to be seen how Adam Page will be booked as the AEW World Champion in the coming months.
