Matt Hardy Says A Large Group Of Fans Hate AEW’s Success

Matt Hardy is a big fan of how AEW works and that is why he signed with Tony Khan’s company. He is also very quick to defend the company against people who are upset by their success.

AEW Full Gear is going down tonight and Matt Hardy didn’t want to see any AEW hate on his timeline. When he saw one fan’s comment, he just couldn’t keep it in. This fan tweeted out in response to a video of Hardy and Orange Cassidy to say, “How are people this dumb? Hardy missed Orange on purpose, he made a noise so the ref thought he hit a twist of fate or something instead of cheating.”

Hardy wasted no time with his comeback. He also shoveled a bit of shade on fans who hate on AEW and root for their failure because they don’t like Tony Khan’s method of doing things the right way.

How are some this “dumb” when it comes to AEW? A large group of people hate AEW’s success & the fact TK is doing things right. These people search for things to pounce on & trash AEW. To intelligent fans, it’s obvious why I did what I did. It’s a societal problem on social media.

We’ll have to see what the future holds, but AEW is making a lot of noise. They are also bringing back that lapsed fan with their presentation geared to focus on pro wrestling and not storyline driven sports entertainment. There will always be critics of anything, but Matt Hardy did a pretty good job taking care of this situation.
