WWE released Bray Wyatt out of the blue and many were shocked. He was a problem backstage, despite how much people love him, and he was let go. We exclusively reported on a number of those backstage issues already.

In recent news, Bray Wyatt is working on a Hollywood movie. That doesn’t mean an AEW debut is out of the question. When asked about Windham Rotunda coming to AEW, Tony Khan said they haven’t entered into formal talks.

Ringside News exclusively reported that Bray Wyatt and AEW had spoken, something that Tony Khan has tried to deny in recent memory. That is very curious, because Dave Meltzer backed up our report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

He was non-committal when asked about Bray Wyatt coming to AEW. There was definitely a plan in place at one point, but Impact also had interest. He didn’t want to come in at this point, obviously because he had the movie role he’s filming right now. Whether he ends up here or in Impact, time will tell.

We’ll have to see if Windham surprises everyone at AEW Full gear. We were told that, at one point, Full Gear was the hope for his debut with AEW. That buzz cooled and we haven’t heard anything definite in a while.
