Roman Reigns will face King Xavier Woods on tonight’s WWE SmackDown to determine who truly reigns over the blue brand. The Tribal Chief continued the story on his Twitter account with a subtle message to Woods and anybody who may doubt him. He’s already counting on main eventing WrestleMania this year.
Reigns tweeted in response to a WWE promotional tweet promoting ticket sales for WrestleMania 38 in Dallas. He invited fans to come to the show and acknowledge him. He casually wrote it off as a foregone conclusion that he’d be wrestling in the main event.
“Another #WrestleMania main event to add to the collection. Be there to #AcknowledgeMe.”
The Universal champ has been talking a big game lately, both in and out of character. He took several shots at AEW and their talent in the lead-up to AEW Rampage going head to head with SmackDown. The Big Dog’s segment that night with Brock Lesnar infamously lost in the ratings to The Bunny.
Tickets for WrestleMania 38 are on sale now. The two-night spectacular takes place on April 2 and 3 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. The supersized venue is the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
Friday Night SmackDown kicks off at 8PM on Fox. The lackluster build to the Survivor Series PPV will continue in addition to Reigns vs Woods. AEW Rampage has their go-home show before tomorrow’s Full Gear immediately after at 10 on TNT. It’s a packed night for wrestling fans once again as both companies gear up for their big PPV shows.
