Kofi Kingston received a personalized beatdown from the Bloodline on SmackDown. As Ringside News exclusively reported, that segment was a late change of plans. Many thought that was a way to write him off television.
Vince McMahon’s company confirmed that Sir Kofi Kingston has suffered a MCL sprain. That might keep him from standing in King Woods’ corner on SmackDown when he faces Roman Reigns.
WWE sent out an update to let fans know what is going on with the former WWE Champion.
Will Sir @TrueKofi be able to join #KingWoods’ corner for the showdown against @WWERomanReigns this Friday on #SmackDown? @AustinCreedWins
Woods vs Reigns has an extra stipulation as well. The loser will have to admit that the winner runs SmackDown. That might not end well for the loser.
We will continue monitoring this ongoing story. Kofi Kingston was not included on Team SmackDown for Survivor Series. King Woods did make the cut.
