Trish Stratus Sees Shades Of Herself In Alexa Bliss

WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus has been touted as one of the most iconic popular female WWE Superstars in the history of the company. She truly set the stage for women’s wrestling in general. It seems she sees herself in Alexa Bliss as well.

Prior to Trish Stratus and Lita tearing it up in the ring and redefining what it meant to be a female performer in WWE back in the day, female WWE talents were seen as mere eye candy. Despite that, Stratus paved the way for future female talents as well.

While speaking to Vibe 105 Sports, Trish Stratus discussed how she finds shades of her old character in many current WWE Superstars. Among them, she specifically named Alexa Bliss.

“A lot of the time, I see shades of me in a lot [of current WWE women]. It’s funny because I’ll mostly see it on the timeline, on Twitter during RAW. People will be like, ‘Oh, shades of Trish Stratus!’ And there are a few.

Definitely Alexa Bliss at the beginning, I saw shades of me when she did her heel thing. It’s cool to see that and an honor.”

Alexa Bliss has been absent from WWE television since Extreme Rules back in September. We will have to wait and see what the company will have planned for Alexa Bliss once she makes her return.
