Rey Mysterio stuck around WWE for even longer because his son was coming into the company. Dominik Mysterio stuck by his father’s side for a while, but that time is coming to an end.

WWE has teased a rift between the first-ever father/son Tag Team Champions in the company’s history. It seems that their breakup is imminent.

According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, WWE is preparing to break up Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio. This will also see the father and son duo feud with each other.

We will have to see how this situation pans out. Odds are they could have a great feud if WWE books it correctly. If anything, it will give Dominik Mysterio a fresh coat of paint on his character, one he could really use at this juncture.
